Fusion 360 error inkscape svg12/22/2023 ![]() ![]() According to this thread, the problem is Inkscape can’t handle splines that are higher than degree 3, and splines of the sketch in Fusion 360 are degree of 5. Opening an exported DXF file in Inkscape causes an issue. As per the LaserCut page regarding Inkscape support, I have the document properties unit set to mm, all my paths are sized in mm. Fusion 360 has an Add-in, SpurGear, which is able to create the spur gear easily. I have my SVG file all complete, scaled to the full size (1:1). The scale factor seems erratic and random. ![]() I've tried a few different Jpg files as well to make sure it wasn't just the one. I have an SVG file that Im converting to DXF to feed to a laser cutter via the LaserCut 5.3 software. Issue: When inserting an SVG file created in third-party software (such as Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator) into a sketch in Fusion 360, its dimensions are wrong. On my mac, I had zero issues simply saving as svg or dxf and opening it up in fusion, but with every attempt and slight variation today I keep getting the error. I imported an image (a Cubs logo) into inkscape and hit "save as" and have saved as all the different svg extensions, yet when I try and insert the saved svg into an empty project, I get this error message: ![]() (haven't used windows since around vista) I made the switch from my ancient macbook pro today to an Acer Aspire V17 Nitro today and have been trying to figure things out. ![]()
